How to get to Madarao Family Ski Japan
Do you know how to get to Madarao? The resort is located in the north eastern part of Nagano Prefecture, right on the border with Niigata Prefecture (Myoko City). Take the Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tokyo to Iiyama Station. You can also catch the local Iiyama Line train from Nagano to IIyama Station. Buses are available from the front of Iiyama Station direct to the resort, which takes around 20-30 minutes from Iiyama Station. A pick up from the station may be possible if enough notice is provided. Contact us here.
Do you live in Japan or thinking of hiring a car? If you are arriving by car, from the Toyota Iiyama IC, Madarao is just a 25 minute (16.5km) drive up into the mountains.
